In case you hadn't noticed, Facebook has a market cap of one trillion dollars at the time of this post (September 2021).
It wasn't that long ago a company worth a trillion dollars seemed crazy, but now we have multiple companies with Apple at the top.
Back in 2004, Mark Zuckerberg was asked to explain what The Facebook is (the original name) and how big it could get.
It's an important lesson for startups and investors...for most situations, you can estimate the existing market, but when you have true product market fit, you may actually expand the market to sizes you didn't even expect.
